    Imposible, que de la unión de estos dos genios Verdi y List no saliera una música tan celestial y maravillosa como la que nos ha ofrecido este virtuoso y magistral pianista

    A piece like this is only perfect, when you play so effortless that it looks like you are improvising it right now, not as a memorized sequence. We need to play music as if improvised, giving the audience that feeling of surprise, the feeling of never have heard it before, like the first time and keep always this spirit when playing.

    This guy has huge hands. Imagine having to play with hands the size of only one whole octave; it makes playing a lot more cramped up and difficult.

    • @2mileswl415
      @2mileswl415 4 года назад +1

      A lot of pianists can do that because of exercising.😉And if he has got a high grade, he can do it.

    • @2mileswl415
      @2mileswl415 4 года назад +1

      Because before getting the high grade, he may probably exercise for a long time.

    Too metronomic and mechanical for me. Listen to Yundi Like for a more musical approach.

    • @psirus89
      @psirus89 7 лет назад +5

      Ha, Im always listening to Yundi Li's Liszt Recital on Spotify, and Im really not sure, which one I like more. I started appreciate both interpretations, for me its depending on my mood, which one I like to hear. One piece where the artist is really important, depending on the mood is for me, Scherzo No.3. There are so big differences in the interpretations, but would someone dare to call Argerichs interpretation "worse" than pogorelichs? No. Its a question of taste and mood, in my opinion :).
